"I was with candidate Bonnie when the trees in Belmar were being cut down for the large apartment complex. She had been called there as the EMT because someone was injured. It was devastating to see all the felled trees that morning and heartbreaking. It was a sight and sound never forgotten. We both happened upon the tree cutting. As she states in her reason to run for office, Lakewood residents and their mental health are being impacted by all of the development. She understands first hand and I admire and support her run for this position. She sees the bigger picture for all Lakewood residents today and long term from a human wellness perspective.
