Ballots are out! Turn in by November 4th | Ask me for a yard sign to support!
My campaign isn't built on a political endorsement; it's built on the trust of the neighbors and families I serve.
I'm running because I'm done having my head buried in the dirt like an ostrich.
After a decade of service on the front lines, I know we need leaders who have been in the trenches
and understand the real-world consequences of city-level decisions.
"I am endorsing Bonnie Nguyen for Ward 3 City Council because she is bold, hard working and not beholden to big money from a major party. Her commitment to service is demonstrated in her career and sacrifice for family. Hard working families need a representative who is independent and will make decisions in their best interest."
"I support Bonnie because she has proven to be diligent, hard-working, and motivated by the right reasons. What first pushed her to run for city council was the loss of 70 trees at Belmar Park—trees that should have been protected. She wants to stand up for our environment, and I believe she is the best candidate to move our community forward by combining strong community engagement with the environmental protections we so desperately need. At a time when developers seem to be taking over everything, Bonnie will give our residents a voice and work tirelessly to make sure everyone in our community is heard and taken care of. "
"I was with candidate Bonnie when the trees in Belmar were being cut down for the large apartment complex. She had been called there as the EMT because someone was injured. It was devastating to see all the felled trees that morning and heartbreaking. It was a sight and sound never forgotten. We both happened upon the tree cutting. As she states in her reason to run for office, Lakewood residents and their mental health are being impacted by all of the development. She understands first hand and I admire and support her run for this position. She sees the bigger picture for all Lakewood residents today and long term from a human wellness perspective. "Bonnie is the ninja. She has the skills, courage, and determination to fight for what's right, and she doesn't stop until the job is done. Ninja for government!"
"Bonnie is a truly diligent and reliable person, she's always attentive to the needs of those around her. She has a deep commitment to her family, her friends, and her community."
