A first responder who will answer your call.
A great city isn't built by one person's vision—it's built by all of us. As a first responder, I've seen how our community comes together to solve challenges, and I'm running to bring that same spirit of collaboration to City Council. My mission is to ensure that your voice is heard, your neighborhood is protected, and our future is built on a foundation of public safety, genuine affordability, responsible growth that prioritizes environmental protection and stewardship. This isn't my plan; it's our plan.
I believe a healthy community is a safe one. As an EMT, I've seen firsthand the strain on our city services. My priority is to support our police, fire, and EMS departments by ensuring they are fully staffed and have the resources to respond quickly and effectively to every call.
I'm committed to building a connected Lakewood where our infrastructure works for us, not against us. This means holding developers accountable for building sidewalks, improving our streets with safety measures like road diets, and exploring a city-run circulator to create a more walkable and accessible community for all.
Our growth should be a benefit, not a burden. I will champion policies that protect our open spaces and natural beauty, ensuring we learn from past mistakes like the development issues at Belmar Park. My focus is on smart, sustainable growth that makes our city a healthier place to live.
I will fight for a fairer approach to development that benefits Lakewood residents. By repurposing underutilized buildings and demanding a higher percentage of affordable units in new projects, we can solve our housing challenges and create new jobs and economic opportunities that are accessible to everyone.
